Stuff I have been doing (and buying)...

Oh haiiiiiii there ladies and unicorns!

Why yes, I have been a slack arse blogger as of late.

My dear RL friend and fellow blogger Kas even pointed this fact out to me in what may have been the sweetest random Facebook wall post ever.
So, I am rectifying my vast lack of blogginess with some new blogginess!

The main reason for the lack of regular posts is my regular lack of inspiration.
I've actually had quite a few things I could have blogged about, I just wasn't feeling inspired to blog about it.
Some may call it laziness and procrastination, but I think uninspired sounds better ;)

So now I shall attempt to catch you up on alllllll the shit goin' down in my life.
(Yes, I'm swearing more here now. It's who I am. Just go with it...)


1.
I saw Eclipse.
Yes, I have already mentioned this and posted a quasi-non-review, but I don't care, I'm still mentioning it again.
Then I saw it again the very next afternoon with my cousin Brittney.
I love her; even though there's almost five years between us (she's 16 in October), we have always been really, really close and able to talk freely to each other about pretty much everything.
Seriously, I probably tell her more personal thoughts and feelings than I do my friends and possibly even my mum.
Anywho, back to the point: we saw Eclipse.
We loved it.
We swooned.
The next week I went with uni friend Michelle (we love her, she's great value; example - after Jake kisses Bella on the mountain, he tells her he has to go, to which Michelle leaned over and whispered to me "yeh, cos he's got a boner!!" I may have died laughing.) and her little brother Sam.
He loved it. He's awesome.
Then I went for the fourth time (yes, really) with Britt and my bro.
Britt and I loved it all over again.
Brother hated it.
He sucks.

2.
I bought a car.
Yes, you already know that story, too.
But since I'm still in shock to the fact that I own a friggin' CAR, I'm retelling this story.
I have been driving a fair bit and I'm starting to feel really comfortable with it!


3.
I saw old-work friend Trang.
Um, I love her.
And I hadn't seen her since February when I left my old job.
Yep, it's been that long!
Anywho, one Monday afternoon I hopped on the train to visit her.
We had crepes.
It was delicious.
And so, so good to see her!



4.
My brother came home from Darwin.
We've been getting along... mostly.



5.
I had a three-hour Skype sesh with one of my Twitter Besties and Twi Twin, Kat!
It was SO friggin' awesome/crazy/amazing and not at all awkward.
We spoke as if we'd know each other for years, which I loved.
We love Kat. She is good people.



6.
I've been working on my little Polaroid Project!
It's going to look freakin' ahmayzing once it's done.

7.

I bought some crap.

I got paid today and since I have been a very good little saver, I decided to reward myself!

I bought six headbands, a new top and a beret.

Okay, so I may have overdone it a little...

This one is probably my favourite; it's just so beautiful and looks quite vintage!

I may have to buy another to use in a giveaway...

The headbands were buy two, get one free so all up they averaged around $11 each.

I got the beret for $10 (I think it was marked half off) and the top was reduced by $6 to $19.

I also bought a cute dress on Saturday; the bottom is a thick cotton fabric with a vintage-esque floral print and black sleeveless top half.

My mum loved it so much I went back and bought her one today!

8.

I saw a psychic... sort of.

She's a friend of my mum's friend.

Anyways, mum's friend came to stay with us and the three of us girls went to visit and have lunch (we've met her a few times and just love her).

We had a lovely lunch of garlic bread, fettuncine and ravioli and then she sat us down and told us some stuff she had Seen.

Now, I'm a big believer in all this sort of stuff.

And she had said stuff about me before and relayed it through mum in phone conversations but I had never witnessed this first hand.

She told me a lot; some good, some great, some really fucking frustrating and some horrible that made me cry.

And afterwards, I thought, "hmmm, good to know, but we'll see".

Now, this day I was waiting for the phone call about my car loan, to find out whether or not I had been approved for finance.

I had mentioned nothing of any of this to her and asked her the simple question, "do you See anything about me and driving?"

At first she thought I was worried about having an accident but I quickly dismissed this as not it.

She then proceeded to tell me that she Saw me buying a very new car.

Then she described my car to a T, right down to the fact that it was 4-door, hatchback, rounded, a darker red in colour and the fact that the rearview mirror was wide.

Fucking incredible.

I was so gobsmacked!

Anywho, as we all know, the future is subjective based upon the decisions you make.

It's pretty bloody freaky, though.

I mean, she said she could See my children and my wedding.

Anyways.

Now that we are, finally, all caught up and I have practically written a novel for you to read, I must head to bed because I am bloody exhausted.
